March and April
Karina turned 3 this March and was so exicited to have birthday cake on multiple occassions. Tejas and Karina actually let Seth have a birthday this year as well. His birthday is one day after Karina's and in years past they would not acknowledge his birthday. They would wish Uncle Jesse (Seth's twin brother) happy birthday but not Daddy.
Tejas and Karina are both sweethearts or have quickly learned that buttering up Mom and Dad is the best way to get what they want. They will spontaneously say "I love you Mom" or "You are the best Dad ever". They also know how to hurt our feelings (or make us laugh) by saying "You're not my friend" or "I don't like you anymore".
While getting tucked in for bed, Karina asked her brother for water. He brought it, bent down on one knee with head bowed and said 'here you go your highness'.
