December

We had a couple huge snow storms in December and January. Tejas loved going out and "shoveling" the snow with his Dad. He also really enjoyed sledding down the driveway in his new sled from Uncle Jesse and Aunt Jen. The only thing he didn't like was getting the snow on his gloves and would whine "too cold".
        Tejas is doing much better potty-training. He stays dry most days at daycare but at home he tends to get distracted and have a few more accidents. Figures he saves the fun for home! Pretty soon he will be starting pre-school class if he keeps up the good work!
        Karina is crawling much more. She doesn't pick her butt up but instead does an army crawl where she puts her arms out and then scoots her knees and butt forward. Don't be fooled she can get from place to place very quickly and she is quite naughty!
        Seth traded in his sports cars for a new truck. Tejas misses the cars, but loves the new truck. He likes to say it is "Oh my gosh! Daddy's new truck too tall!" Tejas aslo loves being a backseat driver. He likes to yell "red light - stop!" even if the light is far away. He also yells "Go, Mommy Go!" at green lights even if we are driving. Mommy and Daddy can't seem to drive fast enough.
        Karina's toothless grin is no longer. She popped her first tooth this month. It is still cute but Mommy especially misses that silly smile.
