Below are pictures of Karina and Tejas in June. Big brother Tejas is still very fond of his baby sister and is constantly giving her sweet kisses. He gets on her playmat and has tummy time with her. He also tries to entertain her by shaking toys in front of her face.
Tejas went on his first camping with his dad for Father's Day weekend. He really enjoyed the whole experience and didn't mind the tent or being outdoors at all. He loved swimming and playing in Lake Michigan.
Tejas went to see his first two movies. He saw "Up" and "Night at the Muesam". He really enjoyed both movies and sat still thoughout the entire movie. He liked eating popcorn and occassionly screamed out "Eat, Mommy, Eat!".
Karina is doing really well. She is smiling and cooing a ton. She hardly naps but we are thankful she has been sleeping pretty well at night. She has given us a few nights where she goes to bed around 9 and doesn't wake up until 6 or so in the morning! She is really starting to develop thunder thighs and screw on wrists/ankles. Very cute!
Tejas doesn't mind if his sister sits on the couch and watches TV with him. He looks over and smiles at her sweetly every once in a while or will say "Look baby, train" because he is of course watching Thomas the Train.
Tejas and Karina got to see their Uncle Sunny and his friend Archana. While they visited, they even got to go to a local carnival and Tejas got to ride a lot of fun rides. Karina enjoyed all the lights and sounds and was a content cutie.
We had posted the pictures of Tejas and Karina as babies on the Guess Who site last month. We got a lot of great suggestions so take another look as they are now black and white and numbered. See if you can guess right. Many close family members can't even get them all! http://theweekly13.com/TEJAS/2009GuessWho.php
