Karina's Arrival

Below are pictures of Karina. She was born March 28th at 9:50 PM. She was 6 pounds 4 ounces and 19 inches long. Mommy is recovering from her c-section but luckily Karina has been very good.
        Tejas is having a bit of a hard time adjusting to his sister but each day is getting better. He is very sweet to her but is having a hard time sleeping, napping, eating, and listening to his parents. Hopefully it is just a phase and not the onset of terrible twos. He has started to play peek-a-boo with her while she is in the crib. He doesn't realize that she is fast asleep. Pretty soon she will enjoy playing with her big brother.
        Karina, Tejas, and Mommy are in Pittsburgh with Avva and ThaTha and lots of Aunts and Uncles and other relatives. We are lucky to have so much help. We are especially lucky that Meera Aunty was kind enough to come from India to help us take care of both kids for a while.
        Karina has already had lots of visitors. Her Oma, Uncle Jesse, Aunt Jen, Sunny Mama, Gangadhar Uncle and Sujatha Aunty, Bhagya Aunty and Katappa Uncle, and Aunt Aimee came to visit. Today her Aunt Sumana is coming to visit. She loves all the company and especially loves kisses. She can be crying and all it takes to calm her down is a few soft kisses.
