Karina is talking a ton and picking up new words each day. However since she can't say "please", "thank you" or "I love you" yet she gives everyone a full faced smile: all the teeth, nose scrunched up, and twinkly eyes.
        Tejas loved carving pumpkins this year. He learned what jack-o-lanterns were and how to make them from an episode of Special Agent OSO (a Disney show). On the show they show three special steps to carving the pumpkin. He was so excited that he kept telling Daddy each special step.
        Tejas really enjoyed Halloween this year. He liked holding his bag out and saying "trick or treat". He would then say "thank you" as he helped himself to another piece of candy... for his sister. He would take the candy and put it in her treat bag and she would give us one of her "thanks" smiles. Tejas as went as Lightening McQueen's Pit Crew and Karina went as Dora the Explorer.
